About the Bees
We don’t just use any honey. Kangaroo Island is home to the world’s only remaining pure strain of Ligurian bees, and we’re dedicated to keeping it that way! These bees are more than just honey-makers—they’re part of the island’s heart and soul. After the devastating bushfires in 2019, they’ve come to symbolize resilience and hope.
The fires destroyed countless hives and wiped-out vast areas of native vegetation, which are essential food sources for the bees. Every sip of our liqueur supports local beekeepers working tirelessly to restore these habitats and protect this unique heritage. It’s not just honey; it’s a taste of Kangaroo Island’s spirit, crafted with authenticity and care.

Ingredients
45 ml Espresso Coffee
30 ml Pure Vodka
30 ml Honey Macadamia Liqueur
Method
Place all ingredients into a cocktail Shaker
Add Ice
Shake vigorously for 45 seconds
Strain into a martini glass and garnish with coffee beans or slithered honey comb.
