The all-rounder of our whiskies. A flavorful and well-rounded whisky, a result of our Apera casks. It has aromas of currants and rich jam. On the palate, you get sweet, warm, sherry flavours with hints of spice and stone fruit. These flavours remain present throughout the finish, which is nice and long.

SINGLE MALT WHISKY AGED IN APERA CASKS
APERA WHISKY SOUR
On Kangaroo Island, the sea air and seasons shape more than the land, they shape our whisky. The Apera casks lend warmth and richness, layered with stone fruit and sweet spice. In this sour, it finds balance. A classic, from a different point of view.
Ingredients
- 50ml Kangaroo Island Spirits Apera Cask Single Malt
- 25ml Fresh lemon juice
- 5ml Kangaroo Island Honey syrup
- 15ml Egg white or aquafaba
- Dash Angostura bitters
Method
- Dry shake all ingredients (without ice) for texture.
- Add ice and shake again until chilled.
- Double strain into rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with dehydrated orange & native thyme.
